What is WELL?
The International WELL Building Institute is a mission-based startup that administers globally recognized certifications for healthier buildings, organizations and communities. WELL also provides education resources and credentials that empower people to integrate science-backed wellness into their careers, passions and everyday lives. The certification evaluates factors like air quality, water, light, movement, nourishment, thermal comfort, sound, materials, comfort, and mind — all of which research shows can affect well-being. WELL is backed by scientific research and aimed at workplaces, homes, schools, retail spaces, and other environments where people live and work.
